  I rented from Gile Gibbons two years ago and found him to be a horrible landlord. If something went wrong, he wouldn't fix the problem without yelling at us about there being an issue. Then, on the day I moved out, he decided that our house was not clean enough for his liking, and found it appropriate to call me WHILE I WAS AT WORK to swear and yell at me. Because of his perceived lack of cleanliness in the house, we lost our entire security deposit and were charged extra on top of that. Strangely enough, I found out that our neighbors, who also rented from Gile and kept a perfectly spotless house, were charged the same amount over their security deposit as we were. I highly suspect Gile to be charging well over the appropriate amount for the cleaning just to further fleece poor college students. Initially, I was going to let this whole incident go, but those neighbors told me he had contacted them to beg for a positive review, as he only had negative reviews. It truly says a lot about the person when they have to ask for positive reviews, instead of earning them. Long story short: Gile is an immature, unprofessional landlord who will take all your money. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM.

  Rented from Gile this for the 2017 season, in his 767 Apt. A unit. I really liked renting from Gile, he stops by at least once a month to pick up rent, and will stop by to fix up things if they need fixed up. Some of the other reviewers have mentioned cleaning charges, but these were not an issue for us, we cleaned up the unit nice and didn't run into any problems. The unit was very nice, and had nice hardwood floors, updated appliances, and LOTS of space. If you're a party-er, or are very messy these probably aren't the land lords for you. But if you treat the property nice, and keep things reasonably clean Gile and Gidget were a pleasure to rent from! All of their expectations were clearly laid out in the lease, and they didn't ask anything more of us than we signed on for.
